“ I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”
John 9:4
Pastor Martin Brown was born in July 7th in the infamous city of Trench Town, Kingston Jamaica, where he learnt about the streets of Jamaica first hand. He attended the Chepleah Park and Central Branch Primary Schools. His Father was an Engineer and his Mother a School Teacher. They were both Christians and going to church was not an option for him. He moved to the town of Pembroke Hall, which was considered at that time to be uptown Jamaica, where he attended Meadowbrook High School. Although at the tender age of thirteen he recognized that he was being called to be a Preacher, it wasn't until he was attending Meadowbrook that he accepted Jesus Christ at the age of seventeen under the Student Ministries.
After completing high school in Jamaica he moved to the United States where he lived in the Bronx. However, when he moved to the United States his life went on a spiritual decline for many years. This was because while in New York he reacquainted himself with his old crew from Trench Town Jamaica and they formed a new crew with other residents of the Bronx.
Thankfully after many years, he received deliverance from being a thug and reacquainted himself with the wonderful love of Jesus Christ. He attended Baruch College in 1983 and Eastern Nazarene College in 1992.
After preaching at a concert he was offered the job as Pastor at New Gospel Church in Brooklyn. In 2004 Pastor Martin took the job as senior Pastor of New Covenant Christian Fellowship at its inception. Although he loves being the Pastor of New Covenant, Pastor Martin prefers to be considered as a Missionary, locally and aboard. He is a Missionary to Cambodia and Thailand, where he has been doing missionary work since 2005.
Pastor Martin Brown is happily married to Bethune Brown, his wife of 22 years and they have three children Mathew, Jordan and Alyson.
